Fund A Need Grant Request

The Grant Process:  Please Read Before Applying for a Grant

Fund-A-Need applications are open during two cycles every school year:

Cycle 1:  October 1st through October 22nd
Cycle 2:  February  1st through February  22nd

All submissions go through a three-step approval process that includes approval by building principal, district office, Fund-A-Need Committee and ultimately the A+ Foundation Board.  At each step of the process you will receive notification of the status of your request.

  • If your request is fully approved and funded by the A+ foundation, a letter will be sent to you and your school will receive the corresponding check.  It will also be listed as fully funded on the Fund-A-Need website page.

  • If your request is partially funded by the A+ foundation, you will receive a letter and your school will receive a check for the amount it was funded.  It also will be placed on our website for consideration by outside funding.

  • If your request is not funded by the A+ foundation, you will be notified by letter stating the reason(s).  Even if your request is not approved, it will be placed on our website for consideration by outside funding
