What is #ILGive?
After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday helps remind us to support our community organizations. #ILGive is a campaign to engage Illinoisans in not only participating but giving to organizations in the communities where we live. Live here, give here on November 27. #ILGive is an initiative of Forefront, Illinois’ state association of grant makers, nonprofits, and advisors to the sector. Forefront is building a vibrant social impact sector for all the people of Illinois. Learn more at myforefront.org.
Thank you for your continuous support of The A+ Foundation!
A great big thank you to the generous people who donated to the A+ Foundation’s 4th “Giving Tuesday” online campaign this past November 27. Giving Tuesday gave us the opportunity to unite our community around causes in which we truly believe and, as a result, help non-profit organizations connect to the larger community. This year we raised $24,095 in one day. That is an incredible gift which you have given to our students and staff! We appreciate all who supported us in this campaign. Ingrid Roney, Executive Director of A+, applauded the donors: “When I see how far we have come from our first #ILGIVE campaign to now, I can’t believe how we have nearly tripled our donations! I truly believe that people are starting to catch on that “Giving Tuesday” is a cool way to start off the holiday season, after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It feels good to give.” A heartfelt A+ Thank You goes out to some of the biggest hearts in Aurora!
